About us: We are Wensly and Jo-Ann Anijs, co-owners of Ahala Press. Wensly is an Accounting professional, while Jo-Ann is an Educator. Our biggest work assignment yet however, is raising our two boys who take us on new adventures every day. This is an amazing experience and blessing we would not trade for the world!

With two published books and more in the works, we are dedicated to building our brand Ahala Press as well as a community. Our slogan “Drawing on our passion to empower” is a true reflection of our mission to intentionally depict characters of different backgrounds in positive roles. Knowing that words have the power to engage, to heal, and to elevate, we have taken on the responsibility to help increase self-esteem and promote self-love in underrepresented groups.
